To quickly clean an eyeshadow brush, my go to product is hands down the Color Cleaner. It has a dry sponge inside of a metal can and it’s very easy to wipe off one color from a brush so that you can use it immediately in another color. The metal can is small enough that I always pack it in my cosmetics bag for weekend trips and vacations, also!
If I want to make sure my brush has zero trace of color (or product on it) and need to use it right away so I don’t have time to wait for it to dry, then I make sure to use an Instant Cleaner by spraying a tissue or a paper towel with the product. I swipe my brush back and forth on the barely damp tissue or towel until all traces of color are gone. This method of instantly cleaning a makeup brush is perfect for the times when I need to quickly change between light and dark products – or between powdery or creamy products, as well! It is also excellent for quickly removing lip color from a lip brush so that you can try another product!
I try to also give my entire brush line a thorough cleaning at least once or twice a month, as time permits. I’ve found some tools that make this process quick and easy and also protect my investment in high quality makeup brushes!
These are my MUST HAVE products when I’m doing my monthly cleanings:
